Its currently almost the middle of the promotional exams period. All I want is for it to end as soon as possible. Its getting on my nerves.

So, two days ago, the first F1 night race was held in Singapore. At about 7:55pm, I found a website to stream the race from. I know its on TV, but I like to be able to use to computer at the same time. Interestingly, there was a chat box beside the stream, so I could see the comments and reactions of the people who are watching it. Seems like a lot of people hate Hamilton. For some reason, I got glued to the race. I initially only wanted to watch it and do some other stuff at the same time, since its all about watching cars go around a track for 2 hours when it only takes 2 minutes to make one lap.

So... I ended up watching the whole race.

Personally I thought it was a very interesting race. It might have been caused by unfamiliarity, the street circuit, the bumps, the narrowness, or the heat. Whatever the cause, it made the race interesting to watch. A crash early in the race, which I keep thinking its some evil conspiracy by the Renault team. You see, Alonso fuelled light because he expected a crash to happen early in the race, and so he went to the pit stop the earliest. 3 laps after he pits, his teammate crashes. All the other cars now were low on fuel expect for Alonso. So after that, Alonso remains first for most of the remaining race.

There was debris on the track somewhere early in the race. Some black thing that I think dropped off someone's car. Another car knocked it off the track onto the wall, then it bounced back into the track. Meh.

Then I saw Massa drive off with the fuel hose attached. Saw one of his pit crew fall to the ground, saw the fuel hose flapping in the air as Massa drove on. Lol. Then I see the pit crew sprinting from one end of the pit stop to the other end, and it seems its quite hard to remove the fuel hose. I wonder what would happen if Ferrari's pit stop was near the entrance. He'll either drive off into the race without knowing that there's a fuel hose attached to his car, or he'll have to stop in the middle of the track.

I saw two cars skid, maybe there were more that weren't shown. They didn't crash though. Raikkonen crashed late in the game, a pity his tire didn't roll onto the track. It would have made things even more interesting. You have to feel sorry for Ferrari though, they totally screwed up this race.

Lots of sparks flew from under the cars. I wonder what the road is like now.

I happened to be at the Games Convention Asia (GCA) last Saturday. I wasn't planning to go there, and in fact, I didn't realise that GCA was at Suntec, simply because I wasn't that interested. So I went with my family for lunch that afternoon (as usual), saw that bright yellow banner across one of the walls, and *poof*, I'm at the GCA.

There wasn't really much interesting things there. The games with the biggest crowds is Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Saw someone playing Star Wars: The Force Unleased on the Wii, epic fail. Saw Need for Speed: Undercover too (not released yet), Spore, Warhammer Online trailer, as well as the Warhammer Online game, some free online games, F1 simulated racing, DotA tournaments, lots of cosplayers, a long queue for something I didn't bother to find out (the queue was like a wall across about a third of the convention hall), I saw the Frostmourne replica, and I saw Arthas walking around. Yes, the Lich King.

Since majority of you sad Singaporeans are all anime crazy and most likely wouldn't know who exactly is the Lich King. Most likely you've just heard of him by his name, and maybe that's all you know. I have no freaking idea what is so fun/cool/amazing about Naruto or Bleach, and since majority of the cosplayers were wearing suits based on anime characters, I guess they're popular here for some reason. The worst part? Its GCA, not anime convention.

I'm anti-anime for your info. And no, drawings with retardedly big eyes do not appeal to me.

For some reason, this turned into an anti-anime post. It wasn't supposed to be like this. Anyway, I took some pictures of and with the Lich King. Don't really feel like posting my picture up here, but what the hell.

I took the first 2 pictures with my own phone, decided the quality would be too crappy for one of my favourite game characters/lore, so I borrowed my Dad's phone. Speaking of Warcraft being my favourite lore, I think I'll go cram myself with Warcraft lore during the holidays. Blizzard games have the best storyline. Too bad I think Relic (makers of Dawn of War and Company of Heroes) has the better gameplay. Well, the Company of Heroes story was not bad, but its not a real story since its based on World War 2. Anyway, back to camera phone quality, the fifth picture is pretty badly blurred, no idea why. The auto focus must be screwed up or something. Sad, it had to blur when it was a good angle and pose.

Actually I took a fully body picture. For some reason, when I uploaded it to the computer, the colour became all screwy, with yellow, green, red, and blue

Here he's watching people play Guitar Hero. Lol.

Then, he walked to the World of Warcraft booth nearby, and it became a photo taking session. The moment he walked there, about over 20 people started standing in a circle around him, taking pictures of him. You can see the Frostmourne replica behind him.

I know I kind of look like crap in that picture. If I knew I would be going to the GCA and that it was not a usual lunch outing, I would have worn something nicer. This is also most likely the only time you'll see my face online, so consider yourself lucky.

Freedom starts on 7 October 2008.

Anyway, from now till Freedom Day, I'm going to go crazy on my studies. Never studied until 9pm everyday before. Sure, its hell in the beginning, but after a while, you get used to it. Another reason why I may not be going crazy is because there's really nothing much to do if I don't study. Sure, I got Spore to play, and I'm thinking of playing Half-Life 1 and 2. I haven't played those 2 great games yet, so I shall do it one day. Then there's the rather odd MMORPG (Voyage Century Online) which really isn't that great, but since there's nothing to do, I might as well play it because its a unique MMORPG that isn't like the other 8617 MMORPGs already made out there.

I'm also thinking of playing World of Warcraft Properly, full scale. What do I mean by properly? Get professions, do occasional instances at mid-levels (level 40-50?), and strive to get T6 armour at level 70.

Then there's this piece of shit called Project Work. No, not the normal project work that's given in your crappy Secondary School. Its the subject. It lasts like 10 months? You have to write things like preliminary ideas (500 words), proposals, evaluation of materials (600 words), written reports (3000 words), insights & evaluations, and eventually give a presentation to some horror of horrors.

Then last Saturday I got handed the job of going to a shop to print the damn Written Report. Thanks to the group's ambitious endeavours, we spent $95 on printing. Ah well, at least the teacher liked it. He was like smiling and touching the paper. LOL.

Here's a music video I found on Youtube. Song: Here Without You by 3 Doors Down.
If you're wondering, its recorded in World of Warcraft.

I did this quiz earlier this March, and I decided to do it again. Seems like it hasn't really changed much, although the average percentage of all the results has risen quite a bit.

I went back to playing Voyage Century Online. I did a review on that game, so read about it if you want. Anyway, its the perfect game for being afk. Most of the time you just mine for ore, chop wood, plant crops, sail... Of course, there's other things to do, but for now, all I'm doing is just a lot of time consuming stuff. Great to play when you're studying or other stuff, saves a lot of time.

Anyway, I slept at about 4 am for 3 days already. For one of the days, I woke up at 9am for church, and when there was an unusually large amount of people in church for that day, I thought to myself "why are there so many people online today?". Three seconds after I thought that thought, I was like, "wtf"?

Eariler this afternoon I found a spiderweb with a spider on it. No big deal, huh? The thing is, I found it across the toilet seat cover. Again, "wtf?"

Another month more till my agony's end...
