I am officially sick and tired of this. I've been doing work daily from when I wake till I sleep for almost a month. I've had enough, and I need a break. Even if all that work put in, I'm not even prepared for my prelims which is two week away. Hardly prepared at all. Been doing all the work that teachers have been throwing at us, so I don't really have time to do any proper revision. Besides, the fact that I've been sick for 2 weeks isn't helping me at all. I've been feeling more drowsy and groggy than usual, and so I spend like 3 hours reading 20 pages of Geography notes. Not helping at all. I go to school, people cough all the time. I get home, there's sick people too. At home it isn't so bad because I isolate myself in my room, but when its dinner time, my sister just starts coughing over 200 times in the 30 minute period that she eats. That's about 6 coughs a minute, on average. Apparently she has also consumed 4 bottles of cough medicine, and shouts and screams at the TV or her kids every 10 minutes or so. Way to go.

Scapegaming has got a new developer, and his name is 2bit. Currently, the server is pretty much inactive, since the previous emulator has been abandoned and replaced with a new one. The developer has to do a lot of fixes and stuff from scratch. I logged in to the test realm, and I was instantly level 80, without any skills, items, or gold. There was a GM nearby, and she gave me 1000 gold. Interestingly, the "world firsts" notification for achievements actually works, and it was notifying us of the world's first Draenei, Blood Elf and Death Knight. When I made my character, all these were disabled.

Anyway, its going to be a long time before Scapegaming goes back to its former glory, which was its Burning Crusade days. I have a sudden urge to play a shadow priest, since shadow priests have one of the highest DPS in raids if played well. But nah, I'll be made to heal, or laughed/sweared at.

Oh by the way, if you haven't noticed, I'm on Twitter. Link is on the sidebar --->

I've also been spending some time watching people play video games. Xfire has a broadcast system, which allows players to broadcast what they are doing in the video game either to the public, or to friends only. So far, its been rather interesting watching people play games. I get to see how the game is like, and I get to see how people play as well. No wonder the Starcraft channel in South Korea is actually feasible - its interesting.

I also kind of messed up my Math test yesterday. I only spent one afternoon studying for the test, since duh, I'm too busy doing other work as well. So when I did the test, I forgot quite a lot of important information that I needed. Ah. Whatever.

200th Post

I'm currently using Google Chrome as my main internet browser. Opera started to get on my nerves as quite a few websites didn't function properly on it. Firefox lagged too much. Chrome... so far so good. Quick start up time, if it lags, I can switch tabs and wait for the lagging tab to be done. However, Chrome doesn't render all websites properly, but it doesn't really matter since its only for a few websites.

Scapegaming (WoW Private server) is currently going through a rough period. Yesterday, I went to check the changelog for revision updates, and guess what I saw?

Goodbye ppl, hope u liked my work while i was here :)
Logoff, Marcelo"

Kinda crappy for everyone at Scape. Marcelo is the developer, meaning he's the one who fixes everything and codes quests, scripts, skills, talents, etc. The staff have no idea what is going on, and the forums have been taken offline for the time being, again. However, the shoutbox is still active, and apparently Peyton (owner of Scapegaming) has linked a post in there. Can't read it though. Also, in another shoutout, it says something about not deleting posts by people with hacked accounts, and that it is evidence for the theft case. From the looks of it, she's going through legal methods to get this sorted it. Interesting and depressing at the same time.

I've also been reading the third book for the Tunnels series, Freefall. So far, te first two books for the series is pretty good. I'd recommend that you should read it. However, I have a feeling that the amount of excitement and suspense in the third book got tuned down a little. In fact, I think the book only starts to get interesting after three-quarters into the book. That's not to say that the beginning was a total drab. It was still good, but it didn't live up to my expectations after the first and second book.

War is hell. Band of Brothers is a good show everyone should watch. This short clip is from the last episode of Band of Brothers. The German general just surenderred, and he is giving his last and final speech to his men.

I'm going to be pretty busy until the end of A-Levels. Basically, I'll have to do work every weekday from when I wake till 9-10pm, then I sleep. On weekends, I'll play a bit more, but the worktime is still more than the playtime. Sigh.

Anyway, I've started to take a sudden liking to Warlocks in WoW. I've lost my interest in Shamans, one reason being the fact that the power I had was because of a bugged windfury skill. Enhancement Shamans also felt a bit too easy to play, since there's hardly any thinking in what skills to use and such. On the other hand, Warlocks present to me a whole new challenge. With five DoTs to use, the infamous fear spell, many curses to use in different situations, and minions to control, it makes combat a whole lot more fun. Sure, it won't be easy, but fun is what matters.

Also, I've come across a comic based off WoW:
http://www.darklegacycomics.com/
Its just simple short comic strips, similar to those you see in newspapers. I'll be reading these for a while.

4 more months.
