Ok, I've completed watching Scary Movie 4, The Simpsons Movie, 300, Transformers, and Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix. I didn't watch Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, I didn't feel like it. I've never properly watched any of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies anyway. The Simpsons Movie was the best, then Transformers, then 300, then Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix, and then Scary Movie 4.

I've also decided not to complete Roller Coaster Tycoon and Guild Wars. Whenever I log in to Guild Wars there's hardly anyone available to complete missions with me, and its really boring doing it with henchmen.

I've also finally quit Rakion. Amazingly, Rakion has been with me for 2 whole years (since October 2005). So, why did I quit? Lets make a list of reasons.

1. Overpowered cash creatures
2. Transfer of South-East Asian servers to be operated by Mobius. Now Mobius is the worst gaming company you'll ever see in your life. I've never seen a worse company yet.
3. Going towards a RPG system. Potions that heal, pushes people away, and other crap. This kills the unique PvP system that Rakion has.
4. Enchantments. You can upgrade your weapons to become +1, +2, +3... and so on. Again, more RPG crap.
5. Stat point limit increased to 100 from 50. Continues making rich people even more powerful.

For some reason I just can't click that uninstall button for Rakion. Ah yes, let me post a comment made by someone from Planet Rakion.

"This garbage game was the best I ever seen, in a way. A completely unique combat system with amazing potential.

Its incredible what you could do with all this. But Softnyx are the worse, and they did the worse thing I thought they could do. That is throwing a golden concept in the trash, literally.

Sadly, there is no hope remaining now. May Softnyx die in hell."

I've decided to try the game I found a long time ago, called Dance Online. Basically you'll have these arrows coming up the screen and you press the key when you have to. Getting kind of boring, since there's really nothing much to aim for.

I'm still slowly going about completing Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts. The graphics of the game have not changed at all, but the lag is drastically increased. Horrible.

I'm going to get a Playstation Portable (PSP), but currently there's no stock unless I buy one that's parallel imported. I might get it mid-December or so. I'm really getting bored with PC games. On to consoles. Well, the PSP isn't exactly a console, but at least the controls are like one.

Get Windows Live Messenger 9 Beta, if you can find it. Its not released yet, but its leaked. You can finally use animated display pictures, and when you log in, you can have your own signature sound. Looks a lot better also. Seems to be less laggy too.

World in Conflict

This game is a Real-Time Strategy (RTS) game made by Massive Entertainment. Some consider it to be a real-time tactical (RTT) game.

This game takes place mainly in America, with a few missions based in Europe. The main plot in this game is that the Cold War didn't end, and the Russian communists decide to go on a full scale war with Europe and America. So, there are 3 playable factions available for you to play on multiplayer, USA, NATO, and Russia. However, you can only play USA and NATO in the single player campaign.

What is different about this game is that no buildings are built, and no resources are gathered. Instead, you receive a certain about of reinforcement points which can be used to call troops anywhere in the drop zone. This drop zone is predetermined for you so that doesn't mean that you can drop your troops anywhere on the map. This allows the player to enter the battle quickly and easily, so you do not have to build up your base again and again with each passing mission. Reinforcement points are refunded slowly each second if one of your unit dies.

What I also like about the game is the tactical aids available. Tactical points are earned every time you achieve something. That achievement could be capturing command points, killing some enemies, or even repairing friendly vehicles. These tactical aids usually have a deployment time, so good prediction of where your enemy will be 10 seconds later or so is important.

Another good point of the game is its interface. Its small, its neat, and its easy to understand with a short glance. Controlling camera movements is also very functional is easy. Moving your mouse to the edges of the screen doesn't scroll you around, it changes the angle of your view. Pressing the WASD keys scroll you around. I find this method a lot easier as it allows you to have a very good view of the area without any fuss. I really think all RTSes should adopt this method.

The storyline is also great. Heck, what's bad about this game? This story doesn't exactly go in chronological order. Instead of 123, it goes 213 (if you got a brain you should understand what I just said). The story has sorrow, fear, action, honour... good enough to be made into a movie. Of course, more developments need to be added if it really becomes a movie. I took part of the story in World in Conflict to use in my O-level English essay on "Heroes". Heh, I hope the examiner doesn't play World in Conflict.

Have I talked about the graphics? They're the best you'll ever see after Crysis. The amazing thing is, the graphic card requirement isn't high at all. How they made such a stunning game require so little power, still remains a mystery to me.

I don't really like the multiplayer, simply because of the simple rock-paper-scissors style of power. This means that one kind of unit is made to destroy another kind of unit, and that unit only. The rules can't be bent. Tanks will kill infantry, and they'll never destroy helicopters. Well this shouldn't really be much of a problem, but the lack of teamwork in the game doesn't bring out the rock-paper-scissors system. Should be much better as time passes. You also will choose one role in multiplayer mode. Infantry, support, air or armour. By choosing the role, you have access to all the units in that role, at a proper price. Trying to reinforce units from roles other then your own chosen role will result in paying ridiculously high prices.

Overall, its a great game. I haven't met anyone who hates this game. All reviews have given it at least a 9/10.

Cool signature made for me by Lyc from Planet Rakion. A bit small I think.

And I've just watched Scary Movie 4. It has that silly kind of humour.

I've transferred all soundtracks to an individual playlist. Mostly LOTR and Warcraft soundtracks, they're the best.

Its finally the holidays. I've got a lot of things planned out to do.

1. Complete Guild Wars.
2. Complete Company of Heroes - Opposing Fronts
3. Watch Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End
4. Watch Scary Movie 4
5. Watch The Simpsons Movie
6. Watch 300
7. Watch Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
8. Watch Transformers
9. Complete Roller Coaster Tycoon (undecided)

I've already watched X-men 3 and Spiderman 3. There'll definitely be things added to this list, as I always go around trying new games here and there.

Only three more papers to go, and its all Science MCQs. So there's practically no worry at all. I'll just do every single MCQ available in the TYS every morning till the paper, and spend the rest of the day playing.

I found this game called Lunia. I actually found it on the Hellgate: London forums, and I can say its a 2D version of Hellgate, minus the undead. Its a MMORPG, as usual, and you go on a Guild Wars style of storyline. As in, you get sent to a certain map with a route to follow and you complete the stage. Fighting is like in Survival Project; you control your attacks and combos by pressing buttons on your keyboard. Its a great game, just lacking population. I'll do a review about it soon.

I'm going to rent some blockbusters next week, mainly the "movies I need to watch" thing at the sidebar. Should I burn it? Nah. I don't usually re-watch movies.

Finding a good blogskin is hard. They're either too bright, too small, too feminine, incompatible with Firefox, too ugly, not my taste... I've found some I like actually, but they're too small for comfort. I feel like changing back to my previous blogskin (the one with a grid box thingy as a background). Its the best so far.
